Cabaret artist (the Dutch term kleinkunstenaar doesn't translate very well) Johan Verminnen had a hit in Flanders with the upbeat song 'k Voel me goed, and that's why I got this album. Johan Verminnen is a respected artist who writes quality songs and blah blah blah, but after all this years I think his music from the eighties was too polished, too produced. A more rudimentary production would have done the songs justice, and the album wouldn't have sounded so outdated.
